Each slot machine has a total number of coins that it takes. Slot machines vary in their pay-lines and these machines are often known as the multiple pay-line slots. The most common slot machines at many land or online casino are the 3 pay-line and 5 pay-line slot machines.
When playing multiple pay-line slots for real money, each coin inserted activates a single pay-line. For example, a 3 pay-line slot machine will activate all its pay-line when a maximum of three coins have been inserted. However, all slot machines have a button ‘bet max’ that you can press to activate all pay-lines. All you have to do is insert all your coins and press the button “max bet”
Playing on max bet also increases your chances of winning because all pay-lines are activated and this means that if any of your winning combination goes on any pay-line you will be awarded.
Playing real money slot machines
Here we will look at the slot buttons and their functions.
Bet One - This action bets one coin from your credits. If playing on a multiple pay-line slot machines, this action would be useful if you need to bet specific coins on the machine. This is an alternative if you do not wish to play on max bet - playing all pay-lines.
Bet Max - This action enables you to bet the total coins required by the machine. On max bet, all pay-lines become activated. This option can only be used when you have enough credits and a high bankroll.
Play Max -This action enables you to bet the total coins required by the machine and automatically spins the wheel. This option should be use when you have many credits.
Spin - This action spins the reels or starts game play.
Cash Out – This action pays out all coins and credits available in the machine.
